Valencia Basket opens the 7DAYS EuroCup Playoffs at La Fonteta against Hamburg Towers

Valencia Basket returns home after three away games and will try to continue growing strong in a Fonteta where the taronja squad hasn't lost for almost four months at the start of its participation in the 7DAYS EuroCup Playoffs facing Hamburg Towers in the Eighthfinals (Wednesday 20, 8:30 p.m., Fonteta, DAZN/Teledeporte) in a do or die game in which our men’s team need to win to stay alive in the European competition.

 

The new competition format with a single-game Playoff turns each game into a true final and the second place obtained in the group stage will allow the Taronja team to enjoy the support of its public in this key game.

 

The taronja squad will have its full roster available for this game except for the long-term injured Klemen Prepelic and shooting guard Olivier Hanlan, since the Slovenian's injury and the arrival of the Canadian shooting guard happened with the deadline to register players for this competition already expired.

 

It will be the first time that Valencia Basket faces this rival, who will become its 103rd opponent in the continental history and its eleventh German rival, a nationality against which it has good precedents at home (21-1 at La Fonteta until today).
